Finally! Mount Fuji
September 18, 2007 1:24 am Mount Fuji, apartment, n00b-gaijinSo after waking from a little nap this evening, I peeked out my window and noticed that the horizon was rather clear. I walked out my front door, looked to the SW, and finally caught my first glimpse of Mount Fuji. I’ve been looking every day since getting here, and nearly 2 weeks later it finally showed itself. Awesome.

Scott,
Looks like you’re getting the hang of Japan. I’m enjoying your blog.
One thing I haven’t seen or heard from you yet… the cell phone! Where is it?! Don’t tell me you don’t have one, because you can’t have a social life in Japan without it.
I read you got your temporary Gaijin Card a few days back, so you have no excuse. I got my first 携帯 with that emporary thing.
Anyway, have fun!
